Annual Fisherman’s Day

Sunday January 3 at the Bowls Club.

The annual Fisherman’s Day started later than anticipated after rain threatened to cancel the day completely.

By late morning the rain had stopped and players arrived ready for a noon start in brilliant sunshine.

A total of 8 teams of 4 played 20 ends to win the trophy.

The winners were Smarty, Chris Coulson, Kirk Humphry and Loz Cave.

Thankyou to the Fishermans Co-op for providing gift vouchers to the winners.

and San Remo Hotel for providing lunch to the players.

After engraving and providing Loz relinquishes ‘her’ trophy it will be placed back in the San Remo Hotel on display behind the bar.
